Transforming a Tuscan Home: The Hyatt Family’s Stunning Remodel in Highlands Ranch

Tucked away in the heart of Highlands Ranch in Douglas County, the Hyatt Project stands as one of Cline Design Group’s most ambitious and rewarding luxury home remodeling projects to date. This million‑dollar whole‑home remodel took a once Tuscan‑inspired house and elevated it into a bright, modern classic—full of clean lines, crisp whites, and timeless Colorado elegance.

Over the course of 7–8 months, our design‑build team completely reimagined the home from top to bottom. Nearly every space was touched: the kitchen, living room, basement, primary suite, office, and bathrooms. New custom cabinetry, updated flooring, and modern architectural details replaced dated finishes and heavy textures. We even reworked doorways and openings to better match the sleek, contemporary design and improve the flow of the home.

One of the standout features of this Highlands Ranch remodel is the new rooftop porch just off the primary bedroom. This elevated retreat offers panoramic views and a quiet place to unwind—blending comfort, luxury, and Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle in one space.

To kick off the transformation, we started with a demolition day to remember. In a fun and unconventional twist, we invited a local baseball team to help with demo. With bats, sledgehammers, and tools in hand, the boys helped us clear the way for construction in the most spirited way possible (and yes, they stayed to clean up afterward). It set the tone for a project that was not only high‑end, but also full of personality and community.

While the Hyatt family temporarily relocated to their mountain cabin, our crew was able to work efficiently and uninterrupted to bring every design detail to life. As the final months approached, we oversaw the furnishing and styling process, layering in warmth, texture, and personality so each newly renovated room felt like home from day one.

What truly made this project special was the partnership with the Hyatt family and the support of their Highlands Ranch neighbors. Their trust, openness, and excitement for the vision made the entire process incredibly fulfilling for our team and a great example of what thoughtful residential design‑build can achieve.
